Backed by two developers only, FPse is the leading emulator for Android. It runs on most versions of Android and emulates PlayStation One – all kinds of games for the platform can now go on Android mobile devices. The project initially started in 2001 and it was designed for computers. It became a front runner straight away and it maintained its popularity as it made the transition to Android as well. It has a bunch of features that make it unique – support for analog and digital pads, lots of customization, the possibility to change the resolution to HD quality, media compression support and the option to emulate pretty much any console game for PlayStation.
The emulator is constantly updated and provides bug support. It is not available for free, but it is relatively cheap for the experience it brings in. It supports all kinds of extra devices and even gun emulation – use your finger to shoot.
