PSX4Droid

PSX4Droid was highly welcomed on the Android store and downloaded by lots of enthusiasts straight away. However, it has been removed due to copyright issues related to the name – the program can still be found for free over the Internet and installed from third party sources. It replicates PSX over Android devices – from smartphones to tablets. It runs Final Fantasy games and Chrono Cross (among many others) in a perfectly smooth operation, yet there are a few bugs here and there – nothing to seriously alter the gaming experience though.

The problem with this emulator was the fact that users had to pay for every new update, which became frustrating. Once it was removed from Android's store, the developer removed all the fees and offered everything for free. It is believed the project is discontinued now, but you can still find it out there. ROM images are not included.
