Redream is a Dreamcast emulator that provides access to almost the entire library – from the first releases to the latest titles, both free and commercial games. The emulator is not abandoned, but still featuring updates every now and then. It runs on Mac OS X, Linux, Windows, Raspberry Pi 4 and Android. It is available for free, yet there is also a premium version. The premium version is not really expensive – it is mostly seen as a contribution towards further developments. Those who upgrade will benefit from high definition rendering for even better graphics, more save slots per game and a custom role on the Discord server.
The emulator has less than 4MB in size, so finding space for it is fairly simple. The package does not include any ROM images. The good news is Redream will work flawlessly on old systems as well – including old fashioned smartphones or desktops.
