RetriX allows you to play your favorite retro games on your PC, Phone, and Xbox One. The RetriX front end is the only Libretro front end that has been optimized for all kinds of input methods such as a gamepad, mouse + keyboard, and touch. Although cross-platform, RetriX really shines when played on Windows 10, as it was built from scratch to utilize Windows 10’s gaming features.
RetriX supports an astounding 13 game systems, including NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Gameboy, GBA, Nintendo DS and Playstation, with even more releases planned for the future. This emulator supports saved states so you can record and restore your game progress. RetriX is open source, which means it’s free to use, with no annoying pop-up ads and no data collection on users, so you will be able to play game without distraction. RetriX is sandboxed, and requires no permissions. It will only open the files you select, and install and uninstall cleanly without leaving junk files on your computer.
RetriX serves the same purpose as RetroArch, with the exception that it was designed to perform better on Windows 10. It even supports cool features such as Holographic, Mixed Reality and Continuum mode, although these are developer’s features and not always bug-free
