What is RetroArch emulator?

RetroArch claims to be “the most versatile and the most advanced emulator on the internet.” While that is a bold claim, RetroArch has developed some cutting edge features that place it head and shoulders above the rest of emulators. RetroArch can mimic the operating system of almost any console, and not just that, it can be used on all computers and android smartphones. This versatility means you do not need to play each game on only one device – you can import your saved file from your Android phone onto your Windows computer, and keep playing with no interruption or errors. RetroArch features include rewinding, netplay, simple gamepad and joystick detection, and further customization. If you can only download one emulator, this is the one to download due to its cross-platform compatibility and modern interface. This emulator uses cores, and each core will run a specific console. As a result, more cores will equal more console emulation. RetroArch offers official versions of all cores to be downloaded by users, and these official versions can be further customized.
